Cops Urging Parents to Check Sex Offender Site Before Trick-or-Treating

New Jersey State Police are asking parents to check their sex offender registry before taking their children trick-or treating tonight.

I came across this news on AP, and the startling statistics on the amount of sex offenders in New Jersey is enough cause for you to take a second to just check. According to AP, there are almost 4,000 registered sex offenders in the state alone.

By using this site, parents are able to pinpoint where they live and curve their children from going there.
