Highland Youth Soccer Club in Gloucester Township, NJ is accepting registrations for our recreational intramural soccer program for fall 2008.  The HYSC recreational program provides a fun, educational environment for kid’s age 3-9 years to learn the sport of soccer.  For additional information or to register, click hysc.org

The Lenape High School Girls Track team needs your help! 5 members of the team are going to the Nike Outdoor Nationals in Greensboro, North Carolia in October and are in the process of raising money for the trip, which is entirely funded by the Team. Shelby Richter Fund Golf Outing & BBQ
SoJO On The Go stops by the Shelby Richter Fund Golf Outing & BBQ at the Mays Landing Golf Country Club in Mays Landing from 1PM-3PM. Proceeds from the Outing will benefit Sarcoma Research, Grants & Scholarships The Shelby Richter Fund is a non-profit organization created in memory of 13 year old Absecon resident Shelby Richter who passed away from a very rare form of cancer called Undifferentiated Sarcoma. The Fund will put donations towards Sarcoma Research Grants & Awareness as well as Educational Scholarships to be presented to students from area public schools yearly. Rock The River Lacey Lights Boat Parade
Enjoy a fun evening on the river and help support a great cause! Decorate your boat and join the fun at the inaugural Rock The River Lacey Lights Boat Parade from 7PM-9PM at The SouthWinds Restaurant and Captain's Inn Restaurant & Dockside Bar. Enjoy the parade along with live entertainment plus enter to win prizes including up to $500 worth of gasoline for your watercraft from Southwinds Marina. The Chelten Parkway neighborhood in the Kingston section of Cherry Hill holds a Block Party to improve community relationships.  Chelton Parkway is located in the Kingston section of Cherry Hill. They will host an Alex’s Lemonade Stand during the day and making a charitable contribution in our street name to help support research for a cure for childhood cancer.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Burlington County holds their 24th Annual Cycle/Walk For Kids Sake beginning and ending at the Masonic Home in Burlington Township. The event features 20, 40, 65 and 100 mile bike routes as well as a 5 mile walk! New Jersey Ride Against AIDS
The seventh annual New Jersey Ride Against AIDS, a three day, 250-mile bicycle ride covering the length of New Jersey will be held Friday, September 26th through Sunday, September 28th, 2008. The purpose of the Ride is to raise awareness that AIDS is still a concern in New Jersey and to raise money to address that concern. The Ride is actively recruiting riders, volunteers and sponsors. Registration deadline is September 10th. Look for SoJO On The Go at the Wish Upon A Hero Foundation's Hero Awards Gala at The Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees from 7PM-11PM. The Hero Awards Gala is a truly unique event that you will never forget. Part fundraiser and part award show, the Gala  is being billed as the "most inspirational night of the year!" Begin the night bidding on great auction item during our Wish Auction cocktail hour. Guest will enjoy the open bar all night long and will be treated to a tantalizing 3-course meal. The Hero Awards Ceremony will recognize and honor the most amazing heroes of the year.There will even be a few performances during the award show that will surprise everyone.

The “I-Roc” team holds a fundraiser Beef & Beer at the 947 (Silver Lake Ballroom on White Horse Pike in Clementon from 7:30PM-11:30PM to support their walk in the The Breast Cancer 3-Day is a 60-mile walk over the course of three days. Net proceeds
benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure and National
Philanthropic Trust, funding important breast cancer
