Phillies Star Cole Hamels Suspended for 5 Games

Major League Baseball has suspended Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels for intentionally hitting an opponent with a pitch.

MLB announced Monday after noon that it suspended Hamels for 5 games.  The 28-year-old star threw at Washington Nationals teenage rookie, Bryce Harper over the weekend.  Hamels admitted that he hit the 19-year-old deliberately.

No word if Cole will appeal the decision.
