Clothing Store Aimed at Teens to Close Hamilton Mall Store, 400 Other Locations
Another South Jersey retail chain is closing some of its local stores.
In this year of bricks and mortar store shutdowns, the teen-trendy chain Rue 21 has announced plans to close 400 locations including Hamilton and Ocean County Malls.
According to the Press of Atlantic City, the Rue 21 store in the Cumberland County Mall will remain open.

Now, the Rue 21 website is also promoting store closing sales.
The chain will be left with about 700 stores in the country.
In a Facebook post, Rue 21 said, " It’s true – we are closing some stores. It was a difficult but necessary decision.”
2017 has been a very hard year for brick-and-mortar retailers.
