Police say the burglary was committed Saturday night.

The robbery reportedly took place at the Citgo station just off Route 38, between Chapel Ave. and Woodland Ave. around 7 p.m. Saturday, according to Courier Post.

The suspect, brandishing a knife, demanded cash and cigarettes before fleeing on foot towards Harvard Ave. He allegedly arrived in a light-colored Lexus SUV.

The thief, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and white rag covering his face, was captured on surveillance camera, Cherry Hill Police Dept. reports. He is described as a heavy-set man in his 30's.
