A violent storm sliced through South Jersey early June 30th, leaving thousands without power. Trees were toppled and power lines were downed as Atlantic County was thrown into a State of Emergency
An overnight curfew is in effect for all towns in Atlantic County, except for Atlantic City. Emergency Management officials instituted the curfew in the wake of widespread power outages in South Jersey.
The curfew will remain in effect until 6 a.m. Sunday, at which time officials will reevaluate their “game plan”, so to speak.
