Brigantine Woman Who Lost Home in Fire Wins $1 Million
A Brigantine woman who lost her home in a fire won $1 million in a New Jersey Lottery scratch off game last month.
Theresa Gray, who has a 20-year-old daughter, said she has been struggling financially since a blaze destroyed her house about two years ago.
"I just feel blessed," Gray told lottery officials when she went to lottery headquarters in Lawrenceville to claim her winnings. "This is what the family needed to get our lives back on track."
Gray bought the lucky ticket at Vineland Truck Stop in Buena on March 13, state lottery officials said.
