Bride Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Way to Reception
A new bride in Illinois died not long after saying "I do" when the motorcycle she and her groom were riding to their reception, crashed.
Jana Miles-Burnett and William Burnett were married in a city park and after the wedding ceremony, the newlywed couple hopped on his motorcycle and waved on family to start a procession to the reception.
When their guests arrived at the reception, they saw ambulances and firetrucks going back.
On the way to the reception, a deer ran onto the road, causing a crash that threw the bride to the ground.
Jana, who worked as a 911 dispatcher, was pronounced dead an hour later - still wearing her wedding gown. Her new husband suffered minor injuries in the crash.
