Body of Ocean City Resident Found on Avalon Beach [UPDATE]

Tragedy struck a quiet South Jersey town as a body was found on the Avalon Beach yesterday morning.  The body has since been identified....

According to The Press of Atlantic City, 'Police say the body of 26-year-old Brett Fitzpatrick was found just before 7:30 a.m on New Years Day.'

Update:  Authorities confirmed that Fitzpatrick was not only a resident of Ocean City, but also a member of the Avalon Rescue Squad EMT and Beach Patrol member.  An investigation is still ongoing.
