Black Widow Spider Found in Grapes in Bucks County
A family in Bucks County came back home after grocery shopping only to discover a black widow spider in their grapes! That's enough for me never to eat grapes again.
Amy Reed had just started washing the grapes when she noticed the black widow crawl from inside the grapes. "We were sufficiently freaked out," said Amy especially since she just purchased the grapes at a BJ's store in Langhorne, Pa.
To make matters worse, it's not even an ordinary spider, it was a black widow that is well-known to be poisonous. Amy Reed immediately put the spider in the bag and then the freezer for proof that she wasn't making it up.
Officials from BJ's Wholesale Club have since been notified and are aware of the situation.
