Atlantic County Institute of Technology on Lockdown

Atlantic County Institute of Technology in Mays Landing, is currently on lockdown after a bullet was found on the campus of the school.

Authorities are reportedly conducting a search at ACIT which is currently on temporary lockdown, according to NBC40.net.

Parents are being told there is no reason to report to the school as all students are safe.

No word on where the bullet may have come from or if it had been discharged from a weapon, but he Atlantic County Sheriff's Office is investigating the discovery.  We'll offer new information as it becomes available.
