Atlantic City Having One Of It’s Deadliest Years On Record

Wallace McKelvey, Press of Atlantic City

Yesterday’s killing at Carver Hall apartments brings Atlantic City’s murder count to 12 this year.  That’s 3 more than this date last year.

25-year old Sedrick Lindo was shot and killed Sunday afternoon on the steps of Carver Hill on the city’s N. South Carolina block.  It’s possible Lindo was holding a baby in his lap at the time of the shooting, according to PressofAtlanticCity.com.  No arrests have been made.

Sedrick Lindo’s death marks Atlantic City’s twelfth homicide of the year.  Eight of the twelve victims were fatally shot.

Public Safety Director Willie Glass confirms that additional police units have been added to the area surrounding Carver Hill apartments.
