The ongoing investigation of March 12 death of Da'Quan Montague has finally come to an end.

The shooting took place back in March on North New Jersey Avenue.

Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced on Thursday that 30 year-old Howard Cassell has been indicted in the March 12 death of 23 year-old Da'Quan Montague on Thursday.

Cassell now faces charges of second-degree reckless manslaughter, second-degree possession of a firearm without a permit, and second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

The other man, 23 year-old Tajai Hicks-Anderson, was indicted on charges of third-degree aggravated assault.

The investigation of the murder was a joint effort by the Atlantic City Police Department and the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office.
