The U.S. Food and Drug Administration have approved trials to see if drug could result in people being able to live a long healthy life into their 120s.

The diabetes drug, metformin, has been proven by researchers to extend the life of animals, and now it is time to test to see if this may work on humans as well. Metformin increases the number of oxygen molecules within a cell, as a result boosting strength and longevity. The drug could increase the life expectancy in humans up to 50%.

If this drug is successful a person in their 70s will be as healthy as a person in their 50s.
