America, We’re Not the Friendliest [SURVEY]
To be fair, we're not the unfriendliest either. A new poll conducted by the World Economic Forum has ranked 140 nations based on the “attitude of population toward foreign visitors.” If you like to travel you may want to consider Iceland or Austria, rather than Bolivia or China.
When asked 'How welcome are foreign visitors in your country?' using a scale of 1 to 7, Iceland and New Zealand tied for friendliest with a score of 6.8, while the most unwelcoming nation, Bolivia scored an average of just 4.1. China, Korean and Saudi Arabia received scores of 5.5.
So what about the good ol' U.S. of A.? We're all the way down at #102 on the list with a score of 6.0, according to the report.
