We have already seen some great moments at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games from London, and the games of the 30th Olympiad is only just beginning.  Last night it was gymnastics on stage, and the drama could be felt, especially by the parents of one U.S. gymnast.

Aly Raisman (pictured), one of the members of the U.S. Women Gymnastics Team, was in the lead off position last night as Team USA took to the uneven bars.  The performance was part of a big night for the teenager, but what made this moment special was that NBC caught the reactions of her parents who were holding on to every movement of Aly's performance.

Lynn and Rick Raisman could not sit still while their daughter was on the bars - mom was cheering her daughter on, while her dad seemed to be holding his breath.  The moment is so raw and honest - this is what legendary sportscaster Jim McKay may have had in mind when he coined the term "The Human Drama of Athletic Competition".

Lynn and Rick's moment has made it to YouTube, and there have been several videos posted of the moment.  This home taped video may not have the best visual, but it was the best audio, so you can her Aly's parents reactions.  Look for a raw moment from mom - if you can read lips, check out what she exclaimed at the end of their daughter's performance (and asked yourself if you would not react the same way).

USA is in 1st place in the team competition, and Aly Raisman is in the lead in the all-around competition.  Could 2 Gold Medals be coming Aly's way?  Can you imagine how her parents will hold up?  Welcome to what makes the Olympics so great!
