8 Atlantic, Cape May Schools on List of Highest Paid Teachers

Teachers in eight Atlantic and Cape May county school systems have fared especially well in a review of teachers with the highest median salaries in the state.

NJ.com has published a list of the 50 N.J. School Districts Where Teachers Make the Most Money, and several local schools districts are among the state's top money makers.

According to NJ.com, the overall median salary for a New Jersey teacher was $67, 812, based on experience and skills for the position.

Here are the eight locals school districts that made the list top-payed New Jersey  teachers, with a number indicating their state-wide ranking.
