The 64th annual Mays Landing Halloween Parade is tonight, Tuesday, Oct 30 and your and your frightful friends are invited!

The parade, featuring a costume contest, dance competition and float contest, runs from 6:30 to about 9pm. The festivities begin at the corner of Old Harding Highway and Mill Street and end at Farragut Ave and Main Street.

The Mays Landing Halloween Parade is sponsored by the Mays Landing Merchants Association and hosted by Mays Landing-Egg Harbor City Rotary Club.

The weather for the parade will be chilly but clear, according to Lite Rock Meteorologist Dan Zarrow.

Please be advised that Route 50, Main Street, and Mill Street will be closed at 5:30 PM and will remain closed until the parade has finished. At 4:00 pm, no parking will be permitted on Main Street, Mill Street, Farragut Ave, Old Harding Highway (between Mill St and Wheaton Ave) and River Drive (between Route 50 and the Sugar Hill intersection).

Spectator parking will be available at the County parking lots on 2nd Street east of Route 50, the Atlantic County Library parking lot on Farragut Ave (enter from River Rd), the Presbyterian Church lot (enter from 2nd St, west of Route 50), and parking at the east end of 3rd St near the footbridge.
