Four Beachgoers Struck By Lightning In Wildwood

Four beachgoers including a pregnant woman were taken to an area hospital after being struck by lightning on Wildwood Beach today, NBCPhiladelphia.com reports.

The four people were on the sands near Cedar Avenue and believed to be part of the same group when the weather took on severe conditions.  One may have been tinkering with a beach umbrella at the time of the lightening strike.  All four were sent for medical attention as a safety precaution.
