The first of three Presidential Debates will happen tonight by 9pm in Denver, as we are now less than 35 days from Election Day and the polls have this race too close to call right now.

Recent polling within the last week has seen Mitt Romney gain some group on President Obama.  Recent polls from Rasmussen, The National Journal, and Gallup sees the GOP candidate pull with 2% of the President - just a week earlier polls had Romney down by as much as 7%.

FOX News, MSNBC, CNN and all the networks are scheduled to carry the debate live, and the cable news channels will have their expert analysis before and after the candidates are done (Sounds like coverage for a football game doesn't it?)  You would think this may be "Must See TV", but let's remember the ratings for the Republican and Democratic National Conventions were bested by Honey Boo Boo (TLC had between 2.5 - 3 Million viewers against the conventions).

TLC will not run Honey Boo Boo tonight, making the options on TV tonight even less.  You could choose to follow who may win the AL East title in baseball, reruns of many classic and not so classic shows, an episode of Boardwalk Empire is on HBO but if you follow the show you saw the episode on Sunday, and there is always the Kardashians (God help us!)
